Precision CNC Machining: A majority of the work that comes through our shop requires the use of our CNC machines. We utilize the effeceincy of CAD/CAM technology to help save our customers money and to produce superior product. CNC machining allows us to produce larger quantities faster while still holding to tight tolerances.
Conventional Machining: We are fully equipped for full production of conventionally machined parts. We are able to mill, turn, grind, and heat treat.
CNC Routing:We have a 5’ x 10’ double spindle CNC router. This machine has helped us to truly expand our machining capabilities as well as opened the door to working with new materials. CNC Routing allows us to machine oversized pieces and work with full sheets of material. We can easily machine plastics, aluminum, wood, and foam. With CAD/CAM technology and our support utility software we are able to scan drawings and convert the image into a vector file format which can be used to create machine code. This works well when producing items for signs and displays such as letters or custom logos and designs. Also with this machine we have the ability to easily engrave on items for the personal touch on your company promotional or personal gift items.
Prototypes: Throughout the years we have done work on many unique and amazing prototype products. Generally most items are engineered prior to being brought to our shop but we have assisted with product development and can also offer reverse engineering capabilities upon customer request. We have the facilities to fabricate single piece orders to large quantities. We’ve been entrusted with proprietary information on many occasions and we respect our customers right to privacy. We fully support confidentiality agreements when requested by our customers.
Tool & Die Fabrication: MK Industries, LLC is well known for our quality tool & die work. In fact, when our shop first started out nearly 10 years ago tool & die fabrication was our primary source of work. We’ve had experience in fabricating a range of dies from simple punching and blanking to bending and forming dies as well as air operated. We currently produce a large quantity of punching dies for the screening and aluminum fabrication industry. Many times we are able to offer turnkey packages for these smaller dies that include a used 5-10 ton punch press with one of our dies already installed. Please call our shop to check on availability if you are interested in a die package.
Bending & Rolling Dies: We regularly fabricate nylon and delrin rollers for use on benders that support a tri-wheel bending system. These machines are mainly used to bend cap rail, aluminum extrusion, and wrought iron. We’ve made roller dies to bend cap rail for curved railing and for bending custom aluminum extrusions for applications like fabricating arched windows and aluminum furniture manufacturing. Also, we often incorporate custom bending functions into our part fabrication for specific applications like bent & formed bus bars or u-channel.
Stamping: We offer stamping services from prototypes to production runs. Along with the stamping we can provide weldments, 2nd operations, and assembly. As you can see previously in our website we can fulfill your tooling and die needs and then offer in-house stamping.
Welding: Our welding services are frequently taken advantage of to provide 2nd operations on products we’ve machined for customers. We are capable of just about any custom welding job from truck racks, gates, and trailer work to fabricating custom truss brackets for the construction industry.
